RUGBY UNION - Australian rugby union international Kurtley Beale has been charged by Australian police with assault after an incident at a family birthday party earlier this year and will appear in a Sydney court next month. Beale, a fly-half aged 20, is regared as being among the brightest talents in Australian rugby and made his test appearance for the Wallabies against Wales in late 2009.Beale is the second Australian international to be charged with a criminal offence this month. His teammate the New Zealand-born 21-year-old Quade Cooper faced a Queensland court last week charged with burglary, where he was reportedly "bewildered and nervous as he entered court". Bless.
